Labrador Retrievers are amazing dogs. They can be your best friend and companion, also they can be trained for a wide variety of tasks. The military has found that Labs are very good at finding hidden explosives. The police use them to find narcotics. They have even been used to reliably detect cancer in humans! Search and rescue teams often use Labs. And their original purpose as retrievers of game is still widely used. A well written book I have read over and over. Basic but complete. Easy to understand. Focused on pointing dogs.
